Night photography recipes

Night is where a recipe changes the most, because the light is already strange: sodium orange, neon, a phone screen on a face. These are the looks the community tags for after dark.

They split into two camps. The monochrome camp is grainy, pushed, high-contrast black and white that turns high-ISO noise into texture. The color camp leans into the cast instead of correcting it: teal-green Cinema looks on the GR IV, retro and cross-processed color on the older bodies.

Where a recipe sets a high Auto-ISO ceiling, that is part of the look - on the GR, high-ISO noise reads as film grain. The GR IV-only night looks are collected on the Cinema recipes page.
