- GR III and GR IIIx: DB-110. GR IV, GR IV HDF and GR IV Monochrome: DB-120.
- The DB-120 is rated at 1800 mAh, roughly 250 shots, and charges in the camera over USB-C in about two hours.
- The DB-110 also runs the Ricoh Theta X and the WG series, so it is not going out of production any time soon.
- DB-120 supply has been tight since the GR IV launched. If you see it in stock, that is the moment.

Can I use a DB-110 battery in the Ricoh GR IV?
No. The GR IV uses the DB-120, a new cell, and the older DB-110 will not fit it. The chargers differ too: Ricoh's BJ-11 is for the DB-110 and the BJ-12 is for the DB-120.
Are third-party Ricoh GR batteries worth it?
They are tempting at half the price, and they do work. But the complaints repeat: they run short, they can fit loose, and the camera's charge reading stops being trustworthy.
