IAC Negative Film Gold

Watch the original videoI Am a Camera's take on Negative Film, tuned by shooting the GR IV side by side with a roll of Kodak Gold. The default look already sends bright reds toward orange, which is what reminded him of consumer film. His recipe adds saturation and a touch of clarity to sit closer to the scans, and fixes white balance at 5300K so color holds steady from frame to frame.

From the creator
He shot the comparison at ISO 400 to match the film, with highlight correction on and shadow correction at medium. With white balance fixed, artificial light at night comes out very warm; for low light he suggests switching to auto white balance with warmth priority. He treats the numbers as a starting point to adjust to taste.

Camera compatibility
Created on the GR IV - every value dials straight into the GR III and GR IIIx. Those older bodies render a touch cooler and darker, so treat this as a starting point; a small white-balance nudge toward amber brings them closer. Grain size/intensity is a GR IV control with no color-mode equivalent on older bodies - just skip it.
