Turns 28mm into 21mm on the GR III and the GR IV family, with no crop and no image-quality complaints. Needs the matching Ricoh GA adapter (GA-1, GA-2 or GA-3), and it is not cheap.

The biggest change you can make to a GR short of buying another one. On a GR III or a GR IV it takes 28mm to 21mm; the neat trick the community worked out is that it screws onto the GR IIIx's GA-2 adapter too, so IIIx owners can go from 40mm to roughly 30mm. Ricoh lists it, with the GA-3, as an accessory for the GR IV, GR IV HDF and GR IV Monochrome. With a genuine GA adapter the camera actually detects it and displays WIDE. Two honest notes from owners: third-party adapters do work, but at least one owner traced focus-breathing problems to one and lost them by switching to the genuine GA-2; and the front element is bulky and exposed enough that people worry about scratching it.
