GA lens adapter

The official adapter with a true mechanical lock - GA-1 for the GR III, GA-2 for the IIIx, GA-3 for the GR IV. Twice the NiSi's price; the one that never falls off.

Ricoh's own answer to the adapter question, and the one the fit-anxious camp lands on: every GA locks to the body mechanically, and with the GW-4 wide lens mounted on a genuine GA the camera actually detects it and shows WIDE on screen. The honest math: it costs about twice NiSi's part for the same 49mm thread, and the GA-2 for the IIIx comes and goes from Amazon - its button falls back to a search when the listing is out. If you hang real glass off the front of your camera, this is the version nobody reports picking up off the pavement.

...buy the official Ricoh GA adapter instead. It has a true locking mechanism to prevent it from falling offu/amauros on r/ricohGR
I had this problem with filters when using a 3rd party adapter. All focus breathing problems disappeared when I used the GA-2.u/Iamtheonlyho on r/ricohGR
